Community Guidelines

How people are expected to behave on Orbit.

Last updated 23 August 2026

Never use Orbit to find someone.

Orbit is for meeting whoever happens to be around, not for locating a particular person. Watching for someone to appear, working out where they live or work, or using more than one account to narrow down where they are will end your account permanently. If someone blocks you, that is the end of it.

Be real.

Use your own photos and represent yourself honestly. Get Photo Verified — it's how people know you're you.

Be respectful.

No harassment, threats, hate, stalking, or unwanted sexual behavior.

Take no for an answer.

Not everyone is looking for the same thing. If someone isn't interested, or stops replying, leave it there.

Respect boundaries.

A Wave or a connection never implies sexual, romantic, or physical consent. Meeting is always a separate yes.

Adults only.

Orbit is 18+. If you believe someone is under 18, report them — we review those reports first.

No scams or solicitation.

No selling, promoting, recruiting, soliciting, or asking people for money. No exceptions, including for causes.

Keep people safe offline.

Meet in public the first time. Tell someone where you're going. Never send money, and never share your home address with someone you haven't met.
